You're built a basic Html page structure. Now you're ready to add background color to your table elements.

You remember using a nice color named "cornsilk", or was it "lightyellow"? What's the correct name and RGB value, and most important - what does the color look like?

Color Chart provides a graphic display of the 216 Web-safe colors - in alpha sequence .

Also see Color Groups, which displays similar colors together.

... Using this tool ...

Open the Color Chart in a new window

Resize the window.

Leave it open as you color your page.


... Tips ...

Use light pastel colors as a background for dark text. Use only 3 or 4 colors on a page, and leave some white space.
